Administration on Aging, Elder Action is one of a series of "Elder Action" pages, all quite good. This one focuses on caregiving.

American Association of Retired Persons,  AARP has some useful links to caregiving, and health and wellness resources on its web page.

American Society on Aging,a large organization including organizations and individuals interested in older Americans.

Baltimore County Department of Aging,   County aging agencies are a major contact point for Older Americans, Act services and for referrals to other services at the local level.

Episcopal Senior Ministries for the Diocese of Washington,  has links to the Alzheimer's Association, caregiver organizations, and chat rooms for seniors and caregivers.

Gerontological Society of America,  is the largest organization for the study of aging. Academic, but still accessible.

Internet Grateful Med (MEDLINE data base)  is a database of medical information on all sorts of issues.

Maryland State Web Site, (Maryland Electronic Capital) is a link to state and local government agencies providing aging services.

The National Council on Aging,  provides information to older persons and to organizations which provide services to them.

Senior Info-Site.com, a new Maryland-based site which contains links to public and private agencies, housing options, religious groups, health information, etc.
